National Cutting Horse Association is kicking off the 2026 Eastern Nationals at Ike Hamilton Expo Center on February 25th through March 6th!
A “cutting horse” competition is a western-style equestrian sport where a horse and rider work to separate one cow from a herd and prevent it from rejoining the group. The rider guides the horse to "cut" a cow from a herd of 40 to 50 cattle, and then drops their reins, letting the horse use its intelligence and athleticism to match wits with the cow
This event is open to the public.
