Historic Preservation Commission

The Historic Preservation Commission meets the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

The Historic Preservation Commission is comprised of five members whose primary responsibility is to hear applications for Certificates of Appropriateness for exterior improvements to structures within the City's historic districts.  The commission's main purpose is to preserve the distinctive character of these historic buildings as well as promote the educational, cultural and economic benefits of the districts.
